Andre the Seal is a heartwarming film about a young girl named Toni who rescues a baby seal and forms an inseparable bond with him. The two become local celebrities, but their friendship is put to the test when the seal is blamed for a decline in the fishing industry and a fisherman tries to kill him. Despite the challenges, Toni's family, who have adopted Andre, fight to protect him and teach the community about the intelligence and abilities of seals. When Andre is eventually taken away to an aquarium, Toni is devastated but ultimately learns the importance of letting go and allowing Andre to live his life in a safe and healthy environment.
