"Drifting" is a powerful drama that follows the lives of homeless individuals living on the streets of Hong Kong. Fai, a recent ex-con, finds a sense of community among other outcasts on a street corner, but their meager existence is constantly threatened by the authorities. As they fight for a place to call their own, a young social worker takes up their cause and challenges the system that seeks to erase them. With a gritty realism, the film sheds light on the struggles of those living on the fringes of society and their resilience in the face of adversity.
