Harmonia

Harmonia is a powerful and emotional drama that explores the complex relationships between three people, inspired by the biblical story of Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar. Set in modern-day Jerusalem, the film follows Sarah, a harpist in the city's philharmonic orchestra, who is struggling to come to terms with her own infertility. When Hagar, a young Palestinian horn player, joins the orchestra, Sarah's life is turned upside down. The two women form an unlikely bond, with Hagar offering to have a baby for Sarah and her husband, Abraham, the orchestra's conductor. As the child grows up, the trio's relationships become increasingly complicated, leading to a dramatic and heart-wrenching confrontation. With a unique blend of Western and Eastern music, Harmonia offers a fresh and feminist interpretation of the ancient story, delving deep into the emotional roots of the conflict between two peoples living in Jerusalem.
