Documentaire

2018, Film, 1h 14min

One of the most influential designers of all time, Dieter Rams has left an indelible mark on the field of product design and the world at large with his work at Braun and Vitsœ—pioneering a functionalist, minimalist aesthetic that has impacted the way most of today’s consumer products look and work. Through in-depth conversations with Dieter, RAMS delves deep into his philosophy, process, and inspirations. What emerges is a portrait of a thoughtful, intentional designer dismayed by a culture of overconsumption. Advocating for environmental sustainability and long-lasting products, his philosophy is about more than just design; it’s about a way to live.
